Kerui Li is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. He received the B.Eng. degree from the South China University of Technology in 2013, the M.Eng. degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2021. From 2022 to 2023, he served as a Research Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University.
Dr. Li specializes in power electronics and wireless power transfer. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed research papers on the topology and control for efficient power conversion, modelling and stability analysis of wireless power transfer systems, and high-frequency wireless power resonators. He has been invited to give tutorials at several international conferences.
Dr. Li has received recognition for his work, including the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics Prize Paper Award (First Place) in 2023, the High-quality Paper Award at the international conference APSCOM 2022, the IEEE Power Electronics Society Ph.D. Thesis Talk Award in 2022, and the University of Hong Kong Power Engineering Prize in 2020.
